Alfredo Pasta Sauce
1-1/2 tsp/7.5 mL Original Grapeseed Oil 1/4 cup/60 mL
chopped green onion 1 tbsp/15 mL all-purpose flour 3/4 to 1 tsp/4 to
5 mL Garlic Liquid Spice 1 can (12 oz/340 g) evaporated skim
milk 1/2 cup/125 mL grated Parmesan cheese 1/4 tsp/2.5 mL Black
Pepper —6 oz Salt, to taste
Sauté green onion in vegetable oil until tender. Stir in the flour and
Liquid Spice until smooth. Slowly stir in evaporated skim milk. Cook over
medium heat until mixture comes to a boil and begins to thicken, stirring
constantly. Remove from heat and stir in cheese and pepper. Serve over hot
pasta.
Makes 1-1/2 cups /375 ml sauce, 1/2 cup/125 ml per
serving.
Alfredo Sauce
2 tbsp/30 mL Black Pepper Grapeseed Oil
2 tbsp/30 mL butter
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 to 1 tsp/2.5 to 5 mL Garlic Liquid Spice
1 tsp/5 mL Parsley
1-1/2 cups/360 mL freshly-grated Parmesan cheese
Freshly-ground Sea Salt
and Black Tellicherry Peppercorns to taste
In a medium saucepan over medium-low heat, melt butter in grapeseed oil. Add cream and simmer about 5
minutes, stirring occasionally with a wire whisk. Stir in Liquid Spice and parsley. Add cheese and whisk
quickly until heated through and cheese is melted into sauce. Salt and pepper to taste; serve over hot
fettuccini. For a main dish: Grill whole shrimp or boneless, skinless chicken breast halves; season with
Watkins Grill Seasoning or Chicken Seasoning. If serving chicken, cut into strips. Arrange chicken strips
or shrimp atop plates of pasta
Basic Marinara Sauce
1 tbsp/15 mL Original Grapeseed Oil
1-1/2 tsp/7.5 mL Garlic Liquid Spice
3/4 cup/180 mL chopped onion
1 can (28 oz/798 g) crushed tomatoes
1 tbsp/15 mL Basil
1 tsp/5 mL sugar
1 tsp/5 mL Italian Seasoning
1/4 tsp/1.2 mL freshly ground Sea Salt
Romano Pasta Topper
Sauté onion in grapeseed oil and Liquid Spice until tender. Add remaining ingredients, cover and cook 15
minutes over medium heat. Serve over hot cooked pasta and sprinkle with Watkins Romano Pasta Topper.

Jus
1-1/2 cups/375 mL water
1/2 cup/125 mL Meat Magic
2 tbsp/30 mL Beef Soup Base
2 tbsp/30 mL Onion Soup Base
1 tbsp/15 mL Onion Flakes
Combine all ingredients and simmer gently the last 30 minutes while roast is cooking.
Makes 2 cups/500 ml, 1/4 cup per serving.
Basic Tomato Pizza Sauce
1 can (8 oz/227 g) tomato sauce
1-1/2 to 2 tbsp/ 25 to 30 mL Pizza Seasoning, depending on spice level desired
Stir seasoning into sauce; blend well and spread on pizza.
